Martham

The Martham Medical Centre is a new purpose built surgery, located on the edge of the village. There is a dedicated surgery car park out front. A pharmacy is available on site. As well as Coastal Villages practice, this building houses the PCT (Health Authority) primary care facilities of Physiotherapy, Midwifery, Health Visiting and District Nursing.

Appointments

Appointments may be made directly with reception on the surgery telephone number. Nurse Practitioners and the GP Registrar also offer clinics at this site. Our trained receptionists may enquire as to the nature of your problem in order that they may best direct you to a GP, nurse practioner, practice nurse or health care assistant (HCA).

Martham Team

Dr H. Taylor

Dr G. Wesselman

This site also offers Nurse Practitioner and GP Registrar clinics. Medical Students are also attatched to this site.

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients may request repeat medications listed on the right hand side of prescription.

You may do this by sending us the prescription right hand side with the boxes ticked for the medication you require. Please post these in the black repeat prescription postbox outside the surgery. You may also send us a fax request. We are happy to receive repeat request through the posts. Some local chemists will collect repeat slips and deliver them to the surgery on your behalf.

Please allow 2 working days from when your request reaches the surgery for your prescription to be produced. If you wish to collect your repeat in person, could we request that this is done in the afternoon.

Test Results

The surgery will contact patients with abnormal test results or significant findings on X–Ray or Ultrasound tests. If you wish to confirm your normal result(s), could we ask that you contact the surgery in the afternoon.
