Coastal Villages Patients
For an appointment, please call the appropriate site where you are registered. If the surgery is closed for the afternoon, a telephone message will give you details of where to call. If it is after 6.30pm, a weekend or a bank holiday, the telephone message will give you details of the local out-of-hours service.
Appointments with the doctors and nurse practitioners are 10 minutes in length. We can best serve you if you bring one problem to each appointment rather than a long list. The receptionists can advise and book extended appointments where necessary.

You can book an appointment in advance
There are appointments which can be booked up to one month in advance available on each site. Please ask the receptionist for details.
You can ask to see the doctor of your choice
To maximise continuity of care, we have regular doctors at each site. If you would like to see a specific doctor, our reception staff can assist, and will try to book you on the day where possible, or a future appointment
You can have a late evening or Saturday booked appointment
There are a number of late evening and Saturday appointments available on a rotating basis between the sites. The receptionists can give details. These appointments are primarily intended for those who are at work during normal opening hours, or those who rely on working relatives for transport to the surgery
Temporary Residents & Visitors
Holidaymakers and temporary residents are generally seen at the Caister and Hemsby sites as these are the closest sites to the major holiday centres. During the summer period June - September we have a special arrangement for temporary residents.
To offer a high quality of care to our temporary patients, whilst maintaining services for our registered patients, we have an extra holidaymaker surgery in the mornings only. This is split between our Caister and Hemsby branches, and you may be asked to attend either site.
