Some Changes at Coastal

From January 1st services at the Coastal Village Practice will be improving patient access by extending our service to 6.30pm. To allow this to happen we will be condensing our services on some additional afternoons.

You are now able to book an appointment up to four weeks in advance to see a Health Care Assistant, Practice Nurse, or GP

If you need to be seen on the day

From time to time you may find that you need to see a clinician more urgently – for these appointments we have a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Specialist or some urgent same day appointments with the GP.

Patients requesting an appointment for the same day will be referred to a member of this team. Please do not refuse to see a Nurse Practitioner or demand to see a GP, you will be advised or seen by an appropriate clinician according to your need and availability of clinicians. Patients requesting telephone advice will be added to a telephone consulting list at the end of the surgery.

Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Specialists are highly qualified prescribing clinicians and able to treat a wide range of conditions.

Hemsby Patients

We continue to operate our telephone consulting service at Hemsby.

Dispensary

The Dispensary at Hemsby will be open every Tuesday until 6.30 pm. We have also improved our drop off service to include our Scratby patients. Patients will be able to collect their prescriptions on a Thursday afternoon between 2.30 and 3pm. from Country Styles Hairdressers

Later Appointments

You will be able to make an appointment up to 6pm. Each surgery has a late day to 6.30pm. and Fridays are rotated between the sites. Appointments between 5 – 6pm are primarily for patients with working commitments who will be offered an appointment at which ever site is open on that day.
