Home Visits

The practice provides a home visiting service for terminal care patients and the completely housebound. Other patients are not visited but asked to attend the surgery for the full range of facilities. If you have problems with transport the reception staff will be happy to suggest local taxi and minicab firms which offer transport at reasonable rates.

Please request a home visit by phoning your usual surgery number. Your details will be taken. You may be advised by our trained reception staff that your problem is best served by attending the local Accident and Emergency department at the James Paget Hospital, or in the case of life-threatening emergency we will call an ambulance on your behalf. You may be called back by a doctor to assess the need a your home visit requested.

We ask that all requests are received by 10.30 in the morning.
