....You are more likely to need an organ transplant than to become an organ donor.

Amongst Coastal Villages Practice's patients there are many people whose lives have been transformed by the gift of organ donation. These patients are alive only because of the generosity of donors and their families who made the live saving choice to become organ donors.

There are many more Coastal patients who are waiting for transplant surgery, and sadly, at least one of our patients dies each year whilst waiting for a suitable donated organ

The more people who pledge to donate their organs after their death, the more people stand to benefit. By choosing to join the NHS Organ Donor Register you could help make sure life goes on.

Give Blood...?

....everyone knows someone who's needed a blood transfusion

At least 100 of Coastal Villages Patients require blood transfusions each year. This can be needed after routine surgery, emergency surgery after injury, following childbirth, or following cancer treatment. Some of our patients have needed blood or blood products even before their first birthday.

Stocks and further supplies are always needed, and giving blood is always easier than you think.
