North Caister Medical Centre
Caister is a busy holiday area, and the surgery is situated next to a large caravan and chalet holiday park. We have recently upgraded the waiting area and office space at Caister. Easy parking is available on the opposite side of the street, and there is a small patient car park in front of the surgery. As well as Dr Dalton and Dr Nelson, this site offers Nurse Practitioner and GP Registrar clinics. Medical Students are also attatched to this site.
Appointments
You may book an appointment by phoning the surgery number. The receptionists may enquire as to the nature of the problem so that they may best direct you to a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse.

Repeat Prescriptions
Using the Repeat Prescription Slip/ in writing
The PCT (health authority) requires all requests for repeat medication to be made in writing. Please use the right hand side prescription slip, ticking the boxes for the medication you require. Please post these in the white repeat prescription box in the surgery foyer or in the letterbox by the side door when the surgery is closed. Some local chemists will collect repeat slips and deliver them to the surgery on your behalf.

Please send your request to the surgery address above. If you wish us to send your prescription back to you, please enclose an SAE.

Please allow 2 working days for your repeat script to be processed once it arrives at the surgery. If you wish to collect your repeat script in person, please could we ask you to do this in the afternoon. If the right hand side shows 'review overdue', the doctor will review your notes and the repeat prescription before reauthorising a repeat.
