Evening, Later Evening & Saturday Morning Appointments

From July 2008 Coastal Villages Practice is now able to offer some later evening (until 8pm) and saturday morning appointments. The practice will be open for pre-booked appointments only. These are bookable in advance and rotate between sites. They are designed for patients that cannot book daytime appointments because of work committments and for those who rely on working family members to accompany them to the doctor. Telephone calls, Walk-In patients and Visit requests continue to be handled by the OOH services based at the Kittywitches Centre in Great Yarmouth.

Evening Appointments

You will be able to make an appointment up to 6pm. Each surgery has a late day to 6.30pm. and Fridays are rotated between the sites. Appointments between 5 – 6pm are primarily for patients with working commitments who will be offered an appointment at which ever site is open on that day.

If you need to be seen on the day

From time to time you may find that you need to see a clinician more urgently – for these appointments we have a Same Day Team of a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Specialist or some urgent same day appointments with the GP.

Patients requesting an appointment for the same day will be referred to a member of this team. Patients requesting telephone advice will be added to a telephone consulting list at the end of the surgery.

Our Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Specialists are highly qualified prescribing clinicians and able to treat a wide range of conditions.
